Wye Valley Trek 2026

Gareth Dunn is raising money for St Michael's Hospice (Hereford)

Wye Valley Trek 2026 · 20 September 2026 ·

Our fab trekkers are supporting Day Services! £8000 could be a week of support where specialists welcome patients, and their carers, for day hospice, living well, bathing, complementary therapies, condition specific groups and more. Thank you!

Story

St Michael’s Hospice in Herefordshire cared for my wife Jenny during the last few weeks of her life. The care they gave Jen was incredible, but they also looked after and supported all of us as a family.

It’s difficult to put into words the difference they made during such a hard time. They gave us the chance to simply be together with Jen as a family, surrounded by kindness, dignity and compassion. That time together was incredibly precious to us.

St Michael’s relies heavily on charitable donations to provide its care, and every penny really does make a difference to a service that none of us ever wants to need, but one that means everything when we do.

I’m walking 14 miles this Sunday as part of the Wye valley trek - a last minute decision so wish me luck. Any donations would go towards an incredible cause x
