We support people in the north of Scotland who are affected by cancer or a blood disorder. Working hand-in-glove with the NHS, we take care of the ‘big little things’, and we fund cutting-edge equipment and research. Every penny makes an impact as our operating costs are covered by Balmoral Group.

Story

Stepping onto the Catwalk for a Cause

As many of you know, in August 2024, I received life-changing news: stage 4 prostate cancer. What started as a routine visit to the doctor for a sore shoulder quickly turned into something unimaginable which turned mine and my family’s world upside down. With no obvious symptoms, cancer was not what I was expecting to hear.

Thanks to the incredible NHS, my treatment began immediately and together we’ve been fighting it hard ever since. Now, I've been persuaded to step far out of my comfort zone to give back...

On May 8th and 9th, I’ll be participating in the Brave 2025 Catwalk Show in support of Friends of ANCHOR, a fantastic Northeast Scotland charity providing vital care, support, and life-saving research for cancer patients.

Every penny raised goes directly to helping those affected by cancer—thanks to the generosity of the Balmoral Group, which covers all the administrative costs for the Friends of ANCHOR.

How You Can Help

Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. Your support will help ensure that more people get the support, treatment and care they need.

A Final Ask: Get Checked

I also want to encourage all men to push for a PSA test, even if you feel fine. Prostate cancer often has no early symptoms, and early detection can save lives. Please, don’t wait.

Thank you for your support, it means the world to me. 💙
