Story
A charity that has become close to both our hearts over the last two years, when Deans Daughter Holly was born at 29 weeks old. Now new to the world and needing specialist care. Bliss were there along the way to ensure the family had what they needed, through counselling and providing basic necessities for Holly and ensuring she got the best care possible, but they rely on donations and fund raising. So now it’s time to do our bit. We are taking 2 Honda Groms (monkey bikes) on a 1400 mile adventure from Pontefract, to scotland, around the remote NC500 and back home, these bikes are small, like half the size of a normal motorbike, with 125CC engine and a top speed of 50mph it’s hardly going to be an easy ride, but we are doing it all to raise money for this amazing charity.
Please support our trip and all the premature babies that come into the world.
1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care.
Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.
Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
