In December 2017, whilst on duty Dixie was riding his Police motorcycle when he was involved in a Road Traffic Collision. Sadly that day, he paid the ultimate price, leaving behind wife Sam who was pregnant with their first child who would be born in March 2018.

COPS have supported Sam and Parker and it is an honour to ride the Police Unity Tour again this year in memory of PC James 'Dixie' Dixon
