Harbour to Harbour Row (Newlyn to Mevagissey) · 25 May 2025

Mevagissey Rowing Club, formed in 1986 when rowing wasn’t as competitive as it is today. We are dedicated to supporting the local community and promoting health and well-being. We strive to do the best that we can on the water and create an environment that is inclusive with a warm welcome to all.

Story

Mevagissey Rowing Club is approaching it's 40th year. To recognise this milestone we are undertaking an epic row from Newlyn Harbour to Mevagissey Harbour. We are doing this to raise funds so that we can continue to be a vibrant part of our local community and support our community health in mind and body. Specifically we are raising funds to purchase a new gig (boat) so that our fleet remains in a good condition for years to come. We will also be contributing to the RNLI and The Fisherman's Mission, two amazing charities supporting seafaring people.

We are going to row nearly 100km in a single day (a normal race is around 2-3km). Please can you support us with your generous donation?
