I'm fundraising to pay my own salary!

No, that's a joke. But obviously I believe in the work this charity does through and through; providing to many vital services to the LGBTQ+ community at a time when it's still badly needed.

We still live in a world where it can be hard to be queer. Hate, online and in person, is still very visible. I don't know a single queer person who hasn't received abuse because of who they are. Trans identities are still weaponised for political point scoring. Just existing as a person who is part of the community can take it's toll.

That's where the LGBT Foundation comes in because they do everything they can to support people's well-being and to spread queer hope and joy. Whether it's the Helpline, so that there's always support for people feeling down, the Recoveries and Talking Therapies services, to help deal with the impact of trauma. Whether it's Domestic Abuse or Sexual Health. Or whether it's being so influential education and awareness raising, or being in the room trying to influence Government policy to help build a better future for our community.

The LGBT Foundation does so much so help me support them! I'll do the running, you just throw some money at me yeah?
