Welcome to the Garforth Junior Team Dreamflight Golf Challenge page.

This year, the Garforth JR’s will be stepping up to the tee for Dreamflight by taking over the course for a fun challenges day on 14th June 2026 at Garforth Golf Club.

One of our golf coach’s Aidan Healey, was a Dreamflight child and is now an ambassador for the charity.

As a child, Aidan’s medical condition meant that he wasn’t able to continue playing football and cricket, so he turned his attention to golf. Aidan said: “The illness robbed me of my mobility, and I ended up having to use a wheelchair for almost three years. I endured nine months of chemotherapy, countless tablets, many different forms of treatment and have been in and out of hospital more than 100 times.”

As his Juniors we all wanted to give back and support him and Dreamflight.

Every hole / challenge we play will help give 192 children with a serious illness, disability or condition the opportunity to step away from their daily medical routine and experience what medicine can't give - independence, confidence, friendship, joy, and the chance to discover their full potential - on the trip of a lifetime to the theme parks of Orlando, Florida this October.

By donating:

£10, you could give a child a book of photos from their trip they'll cherish forever.

£35, you could give a child a day of joy in a waterpark in Orlando.

£100, you could fund a transit seat so a child with mobility issues can go on rides.
