Story
In April this year we sadly said goodbye to our friend and colleague Derek Humphreys after living with cancer for over 2 years. Derek was a much loved, respected, positive and fun individual who gave so much to the affordable housing and construction sector for over 50 years. He has left a huge gap and is sorely missed by his wife Morag, family, friends and colleagues.
In honour of Derek, Garnet Fazackerley, Mike Hornsby, Paul Gerrard, Tom Kelly and his son Michael have got together to form "Dek's Divers" and are taking on the challenge of skydiving on Saturday 19th July 2025. Why you may ask have we decided to throw ourselves out of a plane ??....Dek was an experienced skydiver having completed an impressive 23 in his lifetime and encouraged us to not wait, but to do things in life. So in the spirit of Dek, we are going to be "more Dek" and do it !!!
Please help us to support many others who will benefit from cancer treatment and support at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
