Followers know I love an endurance challenge, and this year I've signed up for the CARTEN100 on Saturday 10th May 2025...which is just two months away...

It's a quad-trembling 100-mile cycle ride from Cardiff to Tenby now in its 21st year, having grown exponentially from its 2004 inception as "four mates, four bikes, 100 miles, one day"!

Luckily, I've been spinning my pins on the indoor trainer since January, and now Spring has sprung I can hit the open roads in preparation.

I'm raising funds for Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales. We have firsthand experience of the truly life-changing support they provide to children and families during hospital stays.

As well as funding innovative medical equipment and facilities used to train the bright clinicians of tomorrow, Noah's Ark also provide emotional support and a specialist 'play team', who aim to make hospital a less frightening place for children by sprinkling a little fun and happiness into what can be testing times for even the strongest of family units.

Please give what you can, and I'll keep pedalling the peaks in pursuit of the leg power to complete my next great Welsh challenge!
