Story
Garry Humphreys was a baritone, conductor, freelance writer and chartered librarian, who died while hospitalised with pneumonia that was complicated by stage 4 lung cancer. His cancer was aggressive and fast spreading, and was only discovered by chance in December 2024 after it had already metastasised. Tragically, the treatment he was offered had little to no effect on his cancer, and he sadly died on 7 May 2025.
Please consider donating to Cancer Research UK in his memory, who fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.
