Gary's Three Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge for Refuge

Gary Andrews is raising money for Refuge

Team: ATG Three Peaks Challenge for Refuge

National Three Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge · 23 May 2026

Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

This year, our ATG team is taking on the legendary National Three Peaks Challenge (IN 24 HOURS) to raise money for Refuge, a charity whose work transforms and often saves the lives of women and children experiencing domestic abuse. Refuge provides safety, emergency accommodation, specialist support and the chance to rebuild lives free from fear. Their services are life-changing, but the need is immense, and every pound truly matters.

The National Three Peaks Challenge is climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon within just 24 hours!

That’s 23 miles of hiking, over 3,000 metres of ascent, and 462 miles of driving between the mountains… all in one continuous push. It’s one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges and will test us physically, mentally, and emotionally from start to finish.

We are proud to be stepping up together, pushing ourselves through every climb, every mile and every tired moment to show our commitment to a cause that deserves all of our voices and all of our energy. This challenge is not just about reaching the summits. It is about standing with those who need support and ensuring Refuge can continue its vital work.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, Philips and Tech Unlimited, whose generous backing helps make this possible
