I’m hoping to raise some funds for the brilliant charity IntoUniversity which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to aspire to go to university or to pursue some other opportunity.

I had the chance to go to university and to pursue an interesting career. It seems only right and fair that others in the next generation have opportunities, too.

The plan is to attempt to walk the West Highland Way which is a 96 mile hike through the Highlands of Scotland, from the outskirts of Glasgow to Fort William. I have enjoyed stretches of the route before, but not attempted the entire hike. In 2024, I was admitted to Addenbrooke's hospital with a heart condition which scuppered my plans that year, but I'm keen to have another go! I hope that you'll support me in doing so.
