Gary's fundraiser in memory of Myrian - Macmillan Cancer Support

Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Myrian was an amazing artist, athlete, author, scholar and above all, a beautiful human.
Myrian was diagnosed with inoperable oesophageal cancer in June 2023. She tackled it head-on and tried everything possible by studying and applying ancient and natural practices. Her approach was successful but following complications in early 2024, Myrian required 24/7 care both at home and then at the Cornhill Macmillan Centre in Perth.
Macmillan provided exceptional support to Myrian and we were both so appreciative. It would be great if you help support this wonderful charity.
If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
We are planning multiple events this year and l am planning on cycling across Scotland, a route Myrian and l planned last year. I’ll also be cycling 980 miles in 9 days from Land’s End to John O’Groats in September. Myrian and I had this in our plan.
Myrian was a cyclist and covered over 13,000 miles in the last few years including a 116-mile charity cycle to Aviemore, cycling the longest climb in Europe at Mount Teide and her final cycle in September was up the famous Passo dello Stelvio in Italy.
There will also be a night of music in November and we are planning on selling prints of Myrian's amazing art. Gig tickets will be advertised and on sale from September.
It would be great to give something back and fundraising will help. I would be delighted if you could donate, or why not join our team and help out. (Myrian's Macmillan Marvels).
