Story
I was given my cancer diagnosis in 2018 and I was in a bad way. I should not be here now, but I am, still fighting strong.
Macmillan have given me so much help and support over the last few years, along with countless others. I am so proud to be able to do something to give back to the charity that's helped me so much.
In 2025 I started running as a way to just get fitter, but now it's become an addiction, a way to challenge myself every day. I can't tell you how it feels to be able to run, when I think back to the time I was being pushed around a hospital in a wheelchair, not knowing if I'd ever walk properly again.
So I've set myself my biggest challenge yet, the London Marathon. I would be so grateful if you could help me by supporting my fundraising with absolutely anything you can manage.
Love you all, Gary X
