Gary, Kev and Ross' LEJOG fundraiser for PROSTATE CANCER UK - April '25

LEJOG - Land's End to John o'Groats - Cycle Ride · 18 April 2025
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are Gary, Kev and Ross from Poole in Dorset, UK. We are 3 x 50-something-year-old blokes who've been mates forever.
Land's End to John o'Groats (LEJOG) is one of the world's classic cycling routes. It starts at the southwestern tip of England, and finishes at the northeastern tip of Scotland. It is therefore the furthest straight'ish line journey you can take in mainland UK.
Avoiding motorways, the shortest cycling distance is approximately 870 miles (1,400km). Avoiding faster roads and favouring the National Cycle Network (NCN), the distance is closer to 1,000 (1,600km).
We imagine that we can cycle the classic Land's End to John o@groEJOG in 11 days. Which works out at about 90miles or 145km per day. LOL!
Our adventure begins on Friday April 18th 2025.
We chose to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK for a number of reasons. The selfish one is that we three all have prostates. Much more importantly, we all know friends and relatives who have been impacted by prostate cancer. You can read more about the charity here:
