Skydive · 17 August 2024

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. Some of you may recall that I had a charity skydive planned, but unfortunately, it was canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time. However, I'm happy to share that we're gearing up to go for it again! This time, we're determined to make it happen. Despite facing delays, (putting on some timber) I've been working hard to get back in shape and I'm on track for the jump to take place on August 17, 2024.

I want to take a moment to reflect on why this skydive means so much to me. When I was just 9 weeks old, I was diagnosed with meningitis. The incredible staff at Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity played a pivotal role in my recovery, and I am immensely grateful for their care. More importantly, your donations can make a significant difference in the lives of other children in and around Glasgow. Every day, 500 children still require life-changing hospital treatment in this area. No matter the size of your contribution, it all adds up and makes a meaningful impact.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering supporting this important cause.
