Story
I am approaching end stage lung disease due to Pulmonary Fibrosis, a rare, progressive disease for which there is no cure. My only hope for survival would be to receive a double lung transplant. I am currently going through the lengthy assessment process at the UK’s leading Heart & Lung Transplant Centre in Cambridge. Understandably - this gives me a vested interest in supporting such a life saving cause.
This year Royal Papworth Charity proudly celebrates 30 years of supporting life-changing work at the UK's leading heart and lung hospital.
To mark this special occasion, I am joining the 30 for challenge!
Money raised will from my challenge will help transform key areas for rest and recovery at Papworth Hospital - turning functional places into healing spaces.
