Story
On Thursday 23rd May 2024, Gary, Pin, Matt & Ryan will be walking 108 miles leaving from Loros Leicestershire and will arrive at Skegness pier on Sunday 26th May 2024, one of Simons last wishes was to ride his motorbike to Skegness and have a bag of chips on the pier but unfortunately he wasn't well enough to make the trip so we are doing it in honour of him.
Simon was a much loved man with his whole life ahead of him. He was first diagnosed with cancer back in 2019 but unfortunately he was given a terminal diagnosis in February in 2023 and sadly passed away on the 24th February 2024.
The aim is to raise £10,000 for Loros as the care they provided for Simon in his final months was outstanding and we are forever grateful.
This is not going to be an easy challenge for four everyday working men.
We hope that the money raised will continue to help Loros provide care for others in need in the future.
Any donations towards our target is gratefully received, please share will family & friends and help us reach our target.
LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
Thankyou
Gary, Pin, Matt & Ryan
