Story
On 16th June, I’ll be taking on the challenge of playing 72 holes of golf in a single day at Ashford Golf Club to raise money for Abbie’s Army, a charity dedicated to funding research into DIPG, a devastating childhood brain tumour.
I’m doing this because Ray and Mandy (Trusties) are good friends of mine, and I’ve seen how much this cause means to them. While I never had the privilege of knowing Abbie personally, I have learned about the incredible work being carried out in her memory and the vital research that Abbie’s Army supports.
Completing 72 holes in one day will be a tough challenge, both physically and mentally, but it pales in comparison to the battles faced by children and families affected by DIPG.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help fund life-changing research and provide hope for families facing this heartbreaking disease.
If you’re able to support me, I’d be incredibly grateful. Your generosity will help Abbie’s Army continue its important work and move us closer to finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, for your support, and for helping me make every hole count.
Please donate if you can and share this page with your friends and family.
Thank you
Gary
