This Saturday, 6th June, I’m making my ice hockey debut at the age of 46! 🏒🤣

I’ll be playing for the Kidney Wales Allstars in a charity game supporting a cause that means a lot to me, especially after losing our dear friend Miffy last year.

A few months ago, my friend Shawsy called and said, “Gary, we’ve got a really good team… we just need a shit player.” 🤣 i couldn’t think of a reason to say no.

So this Saturday I’ll be pulling on the skates for the first time and doing my best not to fall over too much!

It’s all for a fantastic cause, and I’d really appreciate your support. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean a lot.

Shawsy and I are also taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon in October as part of our fundraising efforts this year.

The games take place at Vindico Arena, Cardiff, with a 2pm start.

If you’re free, come along, bring the family, and enjoy the spectacle of a middle-aged man attempting ice hockey for the first time. I will be joined by quite a few ex pro legends Coops Franny & Todd I’ll be in safe hands.
