Gary's fundraiser for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust

Gary Prescott is raising money for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust
In memory of Christopher Prescott

A one month cycling and birdwatching tour of North-west Rwanda

Acorns supports around 750 children and almost 1,000 families every year. The charity needs to raise £11 million each year to provide its lifeline care. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable. Together, we are stronger.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hiya!

Yet another BIKING BIRDER adventure beckons and this one is going to be so thrilling. I am going to cycle around Rwanda, my first Biking Birder adventure in any African country.

Once again I am asking wonderful Sunshine People to give a donation towards the incredible ACORNS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE in the West Midlands, UK.

Acorns have three hospices; one in Birmingham, one in Walsall and the final one in Worcester. Hundreds of local babies, children and young people rely on Acorns Children’s Hospice for specialist 24-hour care and support. Your support is vital in helping us to continue the work that we do.

If you could please make a donation well, that would be more than fabulous.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Starting on October the 28th, I will be leaving Kigali and then cycling north to the area frequented by the late Diane Fossey. I will also be supporting the amazing charity PLANET BIRDSONG.

Please follow my adventures, either via my blog . . .

https://bikingbirder2016.blogspot.com/

or by doing an ECOSIA internet search using BIKING BIRDER in the search box.

ECOSIA, unlike google, plants trees as you search!

All the very best and love to you all.

Tickle my Feathers,

Gary aka The Biking Birder
