Garys story
I'm jumping out of a plane on the 10th May for mental health — and I need your support.
I've always said that I would never do a skydive again as the first and what I thought last time I did it I had a scary experience and struggled to breath but after a few glasses of wine at a TN Card network event I volunteered to do it again and now I’m officially signed up and can’t back out but it’s all for a great cause that truly matters.
I'm taking the leap with my colleague Vicky from G.M. Valentine Family Funeral Directors and 13 others during mental health awareness week in support of West Kent Mind, a brilliant local charity providing vital mental health support in our community. Together, we're raising awareness and funds to help ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
Every donation helps West Kent Mind continue their essential work. If you’re able to contribute, big or small, it would mean the world:
£5 could pay for a dedicated team member to answer the phone and support someone who is facing a mental health challenge.
£10 could pay for wildlife seeds and gardening equipment for their wonderful Mindful Gardening group.
£25 could pay for professional assessors to have a telephone call with a person experiencing domestic abuse.
£45 could help to welcome parents and carers into a safe space supported by an expert wellbeing worker.
£200 could support a young person to access their new Early Intervention Service.
Let’s make this jump count — for mental health, for community, and for change.
