The Somme Poppy Run is an annual run which takes place along the front line of the Battle of the Somme.

This year's commemorative run took place on the 8th July 23 and saw the largest group so far taking part, the run going through the peaceful undulating French countryside which just over 100 years ago saw so much death and destruction.

The run finished with wreath laying at the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing, in memory of all those who fought at the time and who made the ultimate sacrifice.

For more than 100 years, the RAF Benevolent Fund, which is so worthy of our support, has been providing help to members of our RAF Family through thick and thin providing practical, emotional, and financial support whenever it is needed.
