Since starting in April 2020 as the Coronavirus pandemic struck, Volunteers on Wheels (VoW) have supported the needs of tens of thousands of vulnerable people and families each week by ensuring meals, food stuffs and other essentials items can be distributed to people who are struggling with food poverty or insecurity.

Now in our 3rd year, we have delivered more than 1000 tonnes of food and supplies to over 35 Food Hubs and Food Banks throughout London, and helped over 2.5 million people struggling with food poverty or insecurity.

We delivered over 75,000 meals prepared by the With Compassion charity to overstretched doctors and nurses in NHS hospitals; staff and distressed relatives in hospices; vulnerable people in homeless hostels and shelters for the abused.
