On June 14th I will be riding my motorbike through five countries to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. I will leave home and ride though Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales, England and back home to Scotland all within 24 hours riding over 600 miles and taking two ferry crossings.

Why? Well in July 2021 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. This cancer affects 1 in 8 men (1 in 4 black men) and if caught early enough is curable.

Unfortunately when mine was detected it had metastasised into bones and lymph nodes - stage 4 and incurable.

The treatment I have received from the NHS here in Scotland has been incredible and with no visible side affects to the radiation treatment and the medication I am feeling well enough to undertake this fundraising ride.
