I'm a trustee of a great local charity - Regenerage - which is all about helping people live and age well: enabling people to live well with memory concerns and dementia, reduce loneliness and isolation, stay active alongside a range of wider support designed to promote positive and healthy ageing. It's staffed by some amazing people, but like most small charities, it has been hit hard in recent years due to any number of external factors.

I usually feel awkward about asking for money to do something that I'd happily do for fun, but this is not a charity spot - I've bought my entry, and I thought I'd use it to do what I could to help support Regenerage's work.

This year marks 45 years of continuous service delivery and as it happens, I'm looking to target 45 minutes under the sub-4 milestone: a 3:15 finish time.

(Tenuous, I know - and it was supposed to be faster, but I've had quite a few chest problems since I set off on that idea last May. Even this is going to be a stretch!)

Anyway, on behalf of Regenerage, I'd be grateful for all/any support that you might be able to provide - I know it will be put to excellent use in the community.
