We’re taking on a 3275-mile community challenge for Lakelands Hospice - our charity of the year for 2026.

We chose to support Lakelands because of the incredible care and support they provide to people and families in our local community when they need it most.

Over the next 8 months, five members of the Gateway HR team (plus Daisy the dog 🐾) are walking a virtual route around the UK taking in some special places and even climbing a mountain or two on the way. With the aim of being back to Corby by Christmas.

Together, we’re aiming to complete 3275 miles, which is 70 miles a month each — challenging enough to keep us moving, but achievable enough that we know we can do it.

We’re doing this to raise money for Lakelands Hospice in Corby, our Charity of the Year, and every donation will make a difference.

We’ll be sharing progress, milestones (and probably a few aching legs) along the way.
