Hi and thank you for visiting my page. I am lucky enough to be running the TCS London marathon on April 27th 2025 for a brilliant charity - Smile of Hope. (reg charity no.1145705)

Smile of Hope are a local UK charity that provide support & opportunities to children with life-limiting conditions or disadvantages.

The charity is run by an amazing couple & trustees who work tirelessly to provide care to children in need & their families. I urge you to have a look at the Smile of Hope website and see some of the amazing work they have done since they began in 2016.

This work ranges between giving spending money to families for once in a lifetime holidays for children with life limiting illness, paying for children’s heart transplant operations, anorexia clinics, home aids such as wheelchairs, providing equipment & helping local community children with dance, drama & music.

Smile of Hope won just one charity place for the London marathon 2025 & through some contacts I have volunteered to run for them. I am the only runner representing the charity in the event & being as this will be my first marathon it is quite a challenge to say the least, but one I am very much up for. I will be training from now until race day to try & raise them as much money as possible.

Times are hard for everyone at the moment but if you could spare some cash to donate to this wonderful cause that would be amazing!! I slightly shamefully have never raised money for a charity before & am determined to help as much as I can & will get over the finish line (26.2 miles) one way or another in order to do just that. Any amount of money you could manage to spare I know will directly make a big difference to a child.
