Story
On June 18th, I will be setting out to run/walk/crawl/hop/cry my way round a 104 mile mountain race in Bavaria & Austria, as a participant in the 2026 Zugspitze 100m Ultra
The challenge is to;
* run 104 miles through Germany and Austria
*Climb/crawl over 8000m of vertical ascent (just over Everest from sea level)
*run non-stop for approximately 41 hours.
* not lose all my toenails/break a leg/die/cry too much
Given the scale of the above, it seems only natural, to try and turn my pain and suffering into helping a good cause.
Most people think eczema is just dry skin. For some it is manageable but for others it has devastating impacts. Eczema can affect every minute of every day for families. It controls how much sleep they get, what activities children can do with their friends, and how much they can concentrate at school. Without the right support, you can feel completely alone.
That’s why EOS exists: to support and connect families managing eczema through crisis and beyond. By donating, you’re helping families feel less alone and helping children enjoy being children again. Because one child’s future lost to eczema is one too many.
I'm confident that with your support we can meet (or hopefully exceed) the fundraising aim, and help a fantastic charity continue to deliver their life changing work.
Many thanks
