Gav has just completed a 16 MILE NON STOP cold water sea swim in the Solent around the shores of the isle of wight for the wonderful charity https://www.refugease.org.

It took 8 hours of hard slog battling the wind, tide, waves and jellyfish!!

Refugease is a Kent-based charity dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance to refugees in Europe and the Middle East.

In Ukraine, their frontline evacuation missions focus on people stuck in hard-to-reach areas, evacuating vulnerable people who can't flee by themselves due to illness, disabilities or age. Refugease's 'Aid Shop' enables people to purchase survival items for distribution by their team in Ukraine.
