My brother Dean was very sadly diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2021. The photograph of the two of us was taken just last September, at St James’ Park, Newcastle. Dean continues to deal with the disease with an incredibly positive attitude.

Having completed my first 100 mile bike ride in 2022, and raised funds for the MND Association, I’m now attempting another, and bigger, cycling challenge - this time to raise funds for Dean’s other chosen charity, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, whose vision is quite simply “A world free of MND”.
