A few years ago I did a year of running to raise money for Velindre who were treating my wife Jen who had metastatic breast cancer.

You helped me raise over £5000.Since then there were ups and downs but Velindre continued to provide gold standard treatment even during COVID.

In 2023 I raised money through a series of events ending with the Paris to Bordeaux bike ride.

Unfortunately the week before the ride Jen passed away. I couldn't make the trip but stayed at home and did the ride virtually on a Wattbike. In total it was 619km, 3800m climb and approximately 27 hours in the saddle. All in fairly extreme heat. 

It was Jen's wish that I continue to raise money for her chosen charities: Velindre Fundraising, City Hospice and Cancer Research UK.
