Story
Thanks for visiting my page, hope this message finds you well. I have some exciting news to share—this year, I've signed up to join Howard Moxon and a group of my Mitie Colleagues taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise much-needed funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
A week or so after having signed up, my 84 year old Father collapsed while out on a walking along in Glasgow. It was worrying getting a call from a member of the public, as he had fallen heavily into some tables outside a restaurant and was disoriented.
After having him checked out at A&E, he now has an appointment with Cardiology as it is suspected he has a Heart issue, which caused the event.
That just show I guess how Heart Conditions can spring up and affect families quickly, and so I'm doubly happy to be supporting the British Heart Foundation here, and later in the year participating in the half-marathon on the Great Scottish Run, supporting my colleague Ryan McCready's fundraising, also for the British Heart Foundation.
If you do have a few pounds to spare, I know that's not always the case, please do consider supporting me and the Mitie team to raise as much as we can by donating here
To give you an idea of the impact your donation can make, £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early-career scientist. Every pound truly counts, so please consider contributing whatever you can to help me reach my fundraising target.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your generous support.
