Another year, another Great North Run, and another chance to raise money for some great charities!

The charities I'll be running for are Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and the Albert Kennedy Trust (akt); with the latter helping young LGBTQ+ people with safe housing and social support.

Please try to make sure there's an even split in donations across the two pages when offering support!

As well as having a goal across both charities, I'm putting in some incentives so you can make my life much more difficult during the GNR all in the name of charity:

£150 - this is the base goal of funds raised across both fundraising pages.

£250 - hitting this target means I have to take part in the GNR wearing my Where's Wanda outfit. This will no doubt terrify the people of Newcastle and South Shields.

£500 - this is what we're ideally aiming for and will completely change my half-marathon experience. I have to dress up as Mario, and complete as many Super Mario Wonder levels on my Switch DURING the GNR. Yup...

In July, I will also be doing a 24-hour gaming marathon on Twitch in an effort to raise enough money to hit that £500 grand total target.
