Story

I am running to raise money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in memory of Zach - the bravest and most amazing boy.

Noah's Ark was there for Zach and his family when they needed it most, offering thoughtful, compassionate care that made an immeasurable difference.

Zach touched the hearts of everyone he met. His strength, his kindness and his infectious spirit will never be forgotten. Though his time with us was far too short, his legacy of love and courage lives on.

Every step I take in this run is for Zach, his family and for the children and families who still need Noah's Ark vital support.

Please donate if you can - every contribution will help provide life-changing care to those who need it most.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity - Let's do this for Zach!

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice was established by Michael McInerney following the death of a child in his close family in a local hospital. Unhappy with the options available for the child, he launched Noah's Ark's care for children and families in 2006 after years of fundraising. Noah's Ark Children's Hospice helps babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And the charity supports those who do die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family. By providing exceptional care, organising fun activities and days out, Noah's Ark helps families do things they never thought possible. We help those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers.

We support over 350 children and families across North and Central London every year. We believe that every baby, child and young person who is seriously unwell, and their loved ones, should have access to expert and compassionate palliative care from the point of diagnosis. Partnering with London's NHS trusts we have built a home, a community and a team to make that difference.
