I became involved with The Phoenix Festival through my role as Treasurer of CCDT and, having seen the huge efforts made by all the Team for The Phoenix, decided to try and “do my bit” by running the Cirencester 10km to raise funds. Not a stranger to competitive sports, having show jumped and played polo for Great Britain, I do confess that the thought of using my own legs to propel me this distance is somewhat daunting – but I will give it a go for such a good cause!

The Phoenix Festival is a free music event held annually in Cirencester, supported entirely by volunteers who tirelessly raise funds all year round to bring this amazing event to life.
