I am a surgeon based in the U.K. and will be embarking on a medical mission to Gaza with a charity named Fajr Scientific. Alongside 18 other medical professionals, we will be stationed at The European Gaza Hospital in Khan Yunus, starting April 29th. Over a two-week period, we aim to carry out more than 250 critical life and limb saving surgeries.

The healthcare infrastructure in Gaza is currently limited, with only a few hospitals operational. This mission is vital due to the challenges of delivering aid to the area. Our focus will be on acquiring essential medicines, including antibiotics, surgical equipment, and basic necessities for children such as formula, supplements, and diapers.
