James Forster is raising money for Môn Search and Rescue

Tour De Mon 2026 · 23 August 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Môn-SAR are Anglesey’s own lowland search and rescue team, here to support our community and visitors to the Island. Môn-SAR is the first lowland search and rescue team in Wales and undertakes searches in lowland and urban areas (up to 600 metres). We're all volunteers and available 24/7/365.

Story

A number of colleagues involved in the Gwyndod project will be taking part in this year's Tour de Môn, an annual cycling event that gives participants the opportunity to enjoy some of Anglesey's most scenic coastal and countryside routes while raising money for good causes.

To support those taking part, we have launched a charity collection for Môn Search and Rescue (Môn-SAR). The charity provides vital search and rescue services across the region, including high-risk missing person searches, casualty extractions and support in difficult terrain.

We would be most grateful for any donations.
