Sadly in May 2024 I unexpectedly lost my best friend Claude the English Bulldog (think Churchill adverts).

In honour of him and wanting to do something meaningful in his memory I joined GBSR - a breed Specific English bulldog rescue whose aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome.

Entirely self funded, relying on our volunteers (like me) and donations.

In addition to fostering (I’m currently fostering my fourth Bulldog in 12 months) I recently took a more active role and joined their fundraising team.

So wanted to set up a JustGiving page to help raise vital funds, especially in the post Christmas period where we know we will have an influx of abandoned/ surrendered dogs coming into our care.
