Trek up Mount Snowdon · 3 July 2024

NCI is a voluntary organisation keeping watch for people in trouble along the coastline. Our watchkeepers provide the "eyes and ears" along the coast, supporting the Coastguard, RNLI and rescue services. We are totally reliant on donations to continue our contribution to safety along the coast.

Story

On the 3rd of July 2024 several members of the GCL team are taking on the challenge of hiking up Mount Snowdon to support the incredible work of the NCI.

The NCI plays a crucial role in coastal safety, providing vital support and monitoring services to keep our shores safe. By taking on this challenge, we aim to raise funds and awareness for their lifesaving work.

Our goal is to raise £1,500 to support the NCI in enhancing coastal safety, maintaining watch stations, and ensuring a rapid response to emergencies along our coasts.

They are entirely funded by donations, any amount will be gratefully received and put to good use.
