The Elizabeth Foundation is a Family Centre with baby, toddler and pre-school sessions for deaf children and their families. We follow the 'Multi Sensory Oral Approach', to develop speech, language and listening skills by using all of the child's senses in a natural, fun, child-centred environment.

Story

The Elizabeth Foundation is a preschool for deaf children, based in Cosham, Hampshire. Several of the riders sons and daughters are among around 90 children the foundation supports each year.

My daughter has attended since birth, she 'graduates' this year for ‘big school’ happy and confident in her communication and secure in her deaf identity… in fact, she leaves cheeky, bossy and head strong (in the best way) I’m not sure ‘big school’ know what is coming! She is just one of many success stories over the past 40 years, and going forward for years to come.

To thank the foundation for the start they have given our families myself and around 20 other parents, grandparents and friends are undertaking a 90 mile bike ride over the 1st and 2nd of July including camping over on the Isle of Wight. The route incorporates as many Solent ferry crossings as possible; Gosport, Hamble, Hythe, Lymington, Cowes and Hayling.

We would love you to consider sponsoring us, we have a target of £1500... £3000... £4000... £5000… £6500… £8000… could we?

Thanks to all the lovely people and business who have contributed so far - we love you all!
