Story
In May 2024 after years of being unwell I found out I had a large benign tumor in my brain pressing on my optic nerve and would eventually need surgery, but wasn't to serious so tried to carry on with life as normal as possible while having regular MRIs, attending neurology, endocrinology, neuro opthalmology & met my neuro surgeon. My big brother was so worried about me but put his own worrying aside and constantly reassured me I'd be ok and how much he loved me as family meant everything to him. Then on the 4th of November 2024 our world came crashing down when my big brother suddenly and unexpectedly collapsed at home, we tried desperately to bring him round but he tragically passed away and our lives where shattered. Andrew was very fit and healthy with absolutely no health issues so we just couldn't understand what could have happened and thought it may have been his heart. Then after months of waiting we received the postmortem results which told us Andrew had a mutant Grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Tumor and had been seriously ill for quite some time without realising as he had absolutely no symptoms. He was genuinely the most kindest, loving, caring biggest gentlemen you could ever meet and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him would say the same. Being an uncle was his whole life and my 2 kids adored him. My son Riley has been struggling with his mental health since losing his Uncle / best friend and has decided he would like to do this in memory of him and we honestly couldn't be any more proud. Please donate anything you can.. no matter how small every penny is appreciated! Andrew has left a massive hole in our lives that will never be filled as we where such a close family, my mum & dad will never be the same but everyday we will try to carry on and do anything we can to make Andrew proud and keep his memory alive! Thank you so much to anyone who donates it really is appreciated by us all ❤️
