Story
Following the sudden sad passing of Sean on the 8th December 2023, his wife Beverley and daughter Charlotte have asked for donations rather than flowers. Sean loved animals and was delighted when Charlotte brought her work home with her…especially if it was in the shape of badger or a hedgehog!
Sean served as a Special Police Constable in Northumberland before joining the Metropolitan Police in 1988 and working across Penge, Beckenham and Bromley. His main role was within the traffic division in Catford with the occasional extra privilege of escorting the Tour de France through the roads of Kent.
He finally hung up his uniform after 30 years in February 2018……although he didn’t sit still for long and joined the local community shop in Kemsing where he continued to enjoy working within his own community on home turf.
Sean was a stalwart Newcastle United fan and loved aircraft…..he had the thrill of a flight in a Tiger Moth….although being in a Spitfire would have been his ultimate dream!
Beverley and Charlotte have asked for donations which will go direct to Folly Wildlife Rescue as this charity was close to Sean’s heart
Many thanks.
