Story
Walk, fundraise, and change lives this March.
March Ahead for Horses is a fun, flexible walking challenge that runs throughout March, inviting supporters of HAPPA to get moving for rescued horses and ponies. Walk 100k this March to raise 100K for the HAPPA Horse Abandonment Crisis Fund and know that every step you take helps give vulnerable equines a Second Chance.
Whether you’re a seasoned walker or just looking for a reason to move more, this challenge is designed to fit around real life. Walk outdoors, on a treadmill, solo or with friends, how you do it is completely up to you.
How the March Ahead for HAPPA Challenge Works
Take on the challenge and help raise vital funds for horses and ponies in need.
The Challenge: Walk 100km in March
Aim to walk 100km (62.2 miles) across the month.
That’s just 3.22km (just over 2 miles) a day, around 30 to 60 minutes
Track your steps on your phone or smart watch
Record your progress and share weekly updates on social media, tagging us so we can celebrate you!
Prefer to stay dry? A treadmill totally counts.
Fundraise Your Way
Set up a JustGiving page and ask friends and family to sponsor you per mile or donate a one-off amount
Or download a sponsorship form and donate directly to HAPPA
Every pound raised helps provide care, rehabilitation, and safe futures for rescued horses and ponies
