London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

The Down’s Syndrome Association is the only charity in the UK providing support for all aspects of Down’s syndrome. Our aim is to enable people who have Down’s syndrome to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

One of our best friends is running the London marathon next year for the Downs Syndrome association for his beautiful daughter Thea.

We know it’s a lot of money and pressure to raise the vital funds whilst also having to do all the training.

Chloe and I were talking about this and she came up with the idea to walk a marathon to raise funds for Dan and the DSA.

So after talking to her friends Alfie (who is also one of Theas favourite people.) Hettie and Isla it was decided they would all do the walk together as a team.

So on the 16th March 2024 they will start the monster walk. We plan to walk from the marine hall in Fleetwood 13.1 miles out and then back. Making it a full marathon length.

Starting around 6.30am with no set time to finish just survive. We are wanting as many people as possible to come and walk with us to make the time pass quicker as this is going to be tough on this kids who are only aged 10 and 11 currently.

We will keep you all updated and start their training walks next month. !!!
