Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I've chosen to join Turn the Page, a month long reading challenge for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.

Those of you that know my story know how this type of cancer has affected me it is essential that we find out more about this type of cancer to help those who are affected or will be affected by it.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. With only 5,300 people diagnosed every year, sarcoma can be a very isolating diagnosis for patients, friends and family.

By supporting me, we can help change this story for those affected by the disease.

£1 Could cover the cost of 10 texts to the Sarcoma UK Support Line.

£10 Could be used to buy microscope slides to look at cells in minute detail.

£30 Could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope.

£150 Could fund the Support Line for a week.

Thank you for helping me Turn the Page, together we can write the next chapter for bone and soft tissue cancer.
