I was fortunate enough to partake in Release's Mummyshock theraputic support course for new mums when my eldest was 5 months old, (pic is from the group 6yrs ago!) and I can honestly say that it saved my sanity in that first year!

Mummyshock groups rely completely on funding to offer this amazing 10week theraputic course to new mums, and the cost to the charity is £200 for one mum to attend.

For my 40th, I would love to ask you lovely people instead of buying me a drink or a present, to donate to this much needed cause, and pass on this wonderful opportunity to another new mum.

Release Counselling and Therapy for Women is a community counselling project, set up in January 2013, to provide 1-2-1 and group counselling for women in Brighton & Hove, with the goal of empowering women's wellbeing and improving their mental health.
