I have been working in the field of diabetes for the last 7 years and have learnt so much. Type 1 diabetes is a relentless condition, requiring an extra 180 more health related decisions per day than someone without diabetes!

JDRF is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research and raise money to drive world class research. They aim to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition.

This is my first marathon, but I am determined to complete it to do what I can to support this fantastic charity!
