According to the well-known phrase, my life begins this year, and what better way to celebrate than to take on a few marathons, one for every decade!

Now it's time for the final marathon, New Year's Eve in Australia!

This time I am running for a fantastic charity Canteen, who work closely with the final marathon event I will be running as part of in Melbourne.

Canteen is an Australian not-for-profit that provides free and tailored support to young people aged 12-25 who are impacted by cancer. Whether they are dealing with their own diagnosis, a close family member’s cancer or the death of a loved one, Canteen provides:

- connection with peers in similar situations through events and programs

- free counselling and individual support

- 24/7 online support services for young people and parents

- access to free information and resources

- specialist support services for young cancer patients

I would be so happy if I could make it over the line on New Year's Eve, knowing my final fundraising target has been achieved and will appreciate anything you can spare for this very worthy charity.
