Gemma's fundraiser for Sarcoma UK

Thank you for visiting my page.
2025 marks 20 years of being cancer free. In 2004 I was diagnosed with a Pleomorphic Soft Tissue Sarcoma in my left leg. After surgery to remove the tumour and most of my hamstring, 6 rounds of chemo, surgery to remove lymph nodes and 6 weeks of radio, I was finally in remission. To celebrate this milestone we have decided to take on a variety of challenges to raise vital funds for Sarcoma UK. These include (the list might grow yet!)
- Rome Half Marathon (run) 2nd March
- Bath 50km (hike) 29th March
- The Coast to Coast (309km) 2nd - 15th May
- Peak District Trail Escape Marathon hike - 21st June
- Peak District 100km Challenge 28th - 29th June
- Gower 100km Challenge 19th - 20th July
- Halloween 25km Walk 25th Oct
I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you for your support.
